Penrose is small but perfect for two and most of all within 3-4 minutes walk down to the harbour. Parking would only suit the smallest of cars but there is on-road parking further up the hill, loading and unloading outside the property is fine. All in all we had a lovely few days at the house enjoying the great views from the bedroom and lounge. Rockfish, Beamers and Albero restaurants are all well worth a visit!

We loved our stay at the cottage. The parking space is so handy, especially when we realised they are rare so close to Brixham. There are 106 stair steps into the centre of town, and we enjoyed exploring the shops and marina. We loved the Manor Inn, which does amazing pizza on a Thursday night. We traveled around south Devon so easily from Brixham, perfect for the National trusts etc. The cottage is equipped with everything you’d need, a very easy trip with two kids. Thank you!

Returned from a wonderful 5 night stay at Smugglers Cottage, what a little gem! The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us, everything we could need. Host was very responsive and answered questions immediately. We were able to check in early with clear instructions. Would definitely return if staying in the area.

Smugglers Cottage is absolutely beautiful. Fantastic to have a parking space, I’d forgotten how tricky parking can be in the lower part of Brixham! The cottage is cosy, clean and very stylish. It had everything we needed and more. The roof terrace is a bonus although we spent so much time out and about, we didn’t use it as much as we would have liked. There are some great restaurants in Brixham now. We particularly liked ‘Olive’. So many things to do in the local area, a week was just not enough. We really didn’t want to leave!

There is a park just a couple of minutes away to take your pup for a morning walk. The property was very nice. The views from the lounge and bedroom were really good. Looking out over the harbour. The bed was comfy with good pillows and the curtains were blackouts. The sofa was also comfy and the upside down house has everything else that you could need kitchen wise etc. The area was perfect and only a few minutes walk to the harbour with lots to do. Perfect base to spend a couple of days exploring Brixham.

I has a most wonderful stay in Brixham at Penrose Cottage. Jodie was fantastic. I got a little lost on my way and she answered my text immediately and saved the day. The flat is wonderful; clean, cozy and bright with amazing views from the living room windows and adorable small back patio. The location is right in the town center, with charming, winding streets and and a lovely park very close by. The walk to Berry Head offers the most spectacular views and Fishcombe Cove is tranquil and picturesque. I fell in love with Brixham and can't wait to come back.
